Stasher (formerly CityStasher) operate a sharing economy marketplace for left-luggage. Driving potential customers to their website was crucial, as was building trust in the brand. After all, they were expecting people to happily leave their bags and suitcases in their ‘StashPoints’. Crest worked with Stasher to build awareness and legitimacy through targeted media relations.
What we did
We launched the concept through high-level features in The Guardian, The Sun, The Memo, and pretty much every single travel and lifestyle publication out there – getting people talking and booking.
We then moved on to publicising their funding round, which saw articles in TechCrunch and the Independent, alongside coverage in the travel and tech press.
To ensure Stasher were able to rise above the competition, we continued to secure top-level media opportunities including an interview on BBC World’s Inside Track programme and a feature on Channel 5’s The Gadget Show. This was complemented by appearances on tech podcasts, ongoing features in target European business and tech media, and drafting opinion-editorials for the founders.
“ Crest has gone above and beyond, helping us to secure placements in a really impressive bunch of publications. We’ve had full articles about CityStasher in outlets like: TechCrunch, The Guardian, The Independent (and a lot more). They’ve been a real pleasure to work with and we’re more than happy with the results ”
