Want to work with brands and start-ups at the cutting edge of innovation?

Brands that shape how we live, work and stay well?

We’re looking for an ambitious Account Manager or experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team and lead some of our most exciting PR accounts, spanning healthcare, AI and the future of work.

We’re one of the UK’s leading boutique PR agencies, partnering with ambitious tech start-ups and scale-ups to build brands people care about. Current and former clients include ElevenLabs, Plum, Electric Twin, Flexa, Goodlord, Flok Health, Tiney and Overwatch.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your PR career, have ownership and autonomy over your work, shape strategies independently, manage junior team members and play a leading role in driving results for clients from day one, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead day-to-day management of client accounts, acting as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact
  • Develop and drive PR strategies that deliver meaningful business outcomes. Present your plans to senior management and lead on execution and delivery
  • Lead client meetings and present monthly/quarterly reports
  • Generate creative, newsworthy story ideas and see them through from concept to coverage
  • Craft compelling media angles for B2B and B2C brands across national, trade, broadcast and podcast media
  • Identify trends, insights and data-driven opportunities that can be turned into impactful stories
  • Write high-quality press releases, thought leadership articles, blogs and other communications materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers and industry stakeholders
  • Prepare and brief spokespeople for media interviews, speaking engagements and events
  • Measure, analyse and report on campaign performance
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, helping them develop and deliver excellent work
  • Support new business activity, including proposals, strategy development and pitching

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing PR accounts, building strong client relationships and being the main point of contact for clients
  • Confidence leading client meetings and communicating with senior stakeholders in person, virtually and via Slack
  • Strong strategic instincts and a proven ability to identify stories that will resonate with target media
  • Experience securing high-quality coverage, including national media opportunities
  • Excellent news sense and the ability to turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories
  • Strong writing skills across a range of formats and audiences
  • Good understanding of reputational risk and crisis management
  • An established network of journalist and industry contacts
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior colleagues
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of what makes accounts successful and clients happy
  • Experience contributing to new business proposals and pitching for new business
  • Analytical thinking, strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset and willingness to take ownership

What you’ll get

  • We’re open to hiring at Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level. The salary band is therefore £40,000 – £48,000 p/a, dependent on experience.
  • Meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to shape and lead strategies from the outset
  • The chance to work with an experienced, supportive team in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear progression opportunities, including a pathway to senior leadership for the right candidate
  • Hybrid working, with minimum x2 days per week in our central London office
  • Half-day Fridays all year round
  • Quarterly team away days and monthly socials
  • Annual team volunteering days
  • An annual health budget to spend on essentials – like dentist appts, therapy and eye tests
  • 25 days of annual leave (not including Christmas – we do a company shutdown and give everyone additional time off over Christmas and New Year)
